1 quart So Delicious Dairy Free Nog Coconut Milk
1 1/2 teaspoons agar agar powder (not flakes)
cinnamon
cinnamon sticks (optional)
In saucepan stir together Nog with agar agar powder. Heat on high while stirring constantly with wire whip. Once it begins to boil turn heat to medium, being careful that it doesn’t boil over. Boil 5 minutes. Pour into ramekins or custard cups. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top. Place in fridge to cool at least 3 hours. The cooling process will thicken the custard.
I like to prepare mine the day before, plus add a cinnamon stick to the top for a festive look
This recipe makes 5 to 6, depending on how full the ramekins are filled.
This recipe also works with regular eggnog and any other Nog, such as Silk – soy or almond. I have also seen rice milk eggnog.
